Why We Can’t Stock Everything

As much as we’d love to stock every product from every manufacturer, it’s simply not possible. To do so, our shop would need to be three times its current size (and it’s already twice as large as our previous Queen Victoria Building store!). We’d also need significantly more storage space to hold all those boxes.

That would mean much higher overheads — and higher prices for you. Plus, we’d have no room left to showcase our collection of long-retired sets, which have been incredibly popular with collectors looking for that one missing piece.

To keep our stock levels realistic while still rewarding collectors, we offer 10% off all pre-orders.

How Long Does a Pre-Order Take?

We receive regular shipments from our suppliers:

• King & Country: 2–3 shipments per month

• John Jenkins, Thomas Gunn, Warpark: monthly

• Britains and Team Miniatures: every two months

How to Place a Pre-Order

We know no one wants to be charged in advance for items that might take a few weeks to arrive. That’s why we’ve disabled online pre-orders — the system would otherwise charge you immediately. Also, some of the older sets may have sold out with the manufacturer.  

If you see an item marked “EMAIL US TO PRE-ORDER!”, simply send us a message at mail@toysoldiers.com.au
We’ll call you within a day or two after checking if the items is still available, to confirm your order, check your address, and arrange payment details. Once your item arrives in-store, we’ll process and ship it within 48 hours (and usually within 24!).
